In WoW, what profession should I take as a night elf druid?

I'm level 30, and continue to debate what should be my profession to be exactly I started the game a week ago. I'm thinking about mining and the jewelry. I hear its fun and you can do a lot of money. What you think? I will not do skinning and leatherworking, because my friend has hired these professions, so it would be difficult for us both to loot the same things.

If ur lookin for money, have two gathering skills, ie Herbal skinned, something, fun combos Inscription profession are and herbalism, or mining and JC
