How do you write and publish your own ebook?
I have so many ideas I think would be perfect for a book but I feel intimidated by trying to get an agent and publisher. Someone told me about ebooks and it sounds good but where do I start? How do I learn about writing and publishing my own ebook?
These are two questions in one, but I’ll try to answer.
Question #1: How do you write your own eBook?
Writing is very different from what you learned in school. You write in a casual, friendly manner – like I’m doing here. It’s an exchange of ideas. Don’t be stiff in your text. Use contractions, etc. It helps to create an outline first and then let the information flow from one aspect to the next.
Question #2: How do you publish your own eBook?
Publishing is so easy! Adobe offers five free conversions from Word to PDF format PER email address. Then you zip it up, put it on your server (hopefully you’ve invested in a baby or hatchling plan at Hostgator for under $10 a month and a dot info domain only costs 99 cents at Godaddy).
You create an index.html file for your sales letter using something as simple as FrontPage. Then I use Download Guard to automatically deliver the products whenever someone buys! It’s a simple process, you just need to have to step by step directions to get it live.
