What information should my webdesigner give me?
What will I need from my webdesigner that will enable me to make fixes or corrections to my website when he is complete?
I’m worried because I may want to add something into the site so should I request the page html source codes and softwares?, or license or index file?
HTML source,script files, like ASP,PHP. a website map diagram showing how the pages are linked with each, so in the future you decide to change something, what are the other pages that may be affected by it. If they is using any compiled CGI scripts, you will need the source code for that. The database links, a SQL backup of the database if any.
Remember the person is the one who wrote the program make sure you get all the codes well documented so that it will be easier for you to modify them.
